Built in Australia, working hard all around the world
Underground hardrock mining is an expensive business! Allowing quick and accurate alignment underground saves cost and leads to higher efficiency.
Implementation of highly precise lasers used for alignment will make the tunnelling process faster, more accurate and safer.
If boreholes or underground tunnels are drilled in incorrect positions, explosions and wrongly excavated areas may result in dirty break-off edges and rockfalls.
The SB & DB Series lasers solve many alignment problems throughout industry including industrial machine control, wheel alignment and manufacturing process control. The single beam (SB Series) lasers produce a visible red beam at one end of the casing while the dual beam (DB Series) lasers produce beams at each end of the casing that are in line with each other. The SB & DB Series lasers are available in variety of models and with tailored clamping systems to suit specific applications.
All lasers in the series are constructed from aluminium or stainless steel ensuring they can withstand the harshest environments.
Nine different models are available with either internal batteries or externaly powered to suit your particular application.
A number of clamping options have been developed specifically for SB & DB series lasers to ensure installation is quick and accurate.

The Tail Laser is a calibrated laser used in the mining industry to show a reference point when required. A brass sleeve is set with quick drying cement in a drilled hole with the laser aimed at the reference point required for future use. When quick drying cement is cured the Tail Laser can be removed. At any future time the reference point can be easily reproduced by re-inserting the tail laser into the brass sleeve.
The Tail Laser was developed specifically for the mining and tunneling industry and based on years of feedback from major Australian coal mines. It allows for quick and accurate reproducing of refference points when working underground thanks to its removable brass sleeve (tail).
The powerful laser diode in the Tail Laser gives you up to 250m operating distance
The standard replaceable brass sleeve makes the installation quick and allows easy, reproducible results
Thanks to 2 'N' cell batteries the Tail Laser offers long operating time and reduces need for battery replacement
